the first team kick started their campaign with a bang. From the 1st whistle pan were contained by a hard fighting midfield consisting of the excellent josh baker and james bradley. Midway through the first half levi slipped chris through the middle of the defense, who shot across the keeper into the far corner. The first half presented many more chances. Levi hit the crossbar, and ash moul and chris were both denied by the keeper, with sam and brad also going close. The second half was more of the same, and after wearing down the pan resistance sam beat his marker and crossed to ash at the far post who headed past the keeper. Shortly after, a deflected shot fell nicely to ash who hammered his second past the hapless keeper. With not long left, sir alex, i mean morety bought on some fresh legs, and dan storeys injection of pace ripped the opposition apart, and after cutting in from the left shot at the keeper who could only parry into the path of levi, who scooped home past his marker from close range.
