We need profiles of registered users! The easiest way to do this -
Log in to your account
Copy the following (black text) -

Click on 'Submit News' from the menu on the left of this page
Paste the info into the 'Extended Text' box
Edit the information as you see fit - add as much detail as you want
Put a title in the top box - select topic - 'Player Profiles and memories' -
preview and submit
When the admins have had a chance to review it the profile will be added!
Another method - copy the black text into an e-mail, after you have edited it, send it to the Webmaster |

Any players out there?
If you are looking for a game you could do a lot worse than join our friendly and well organised club (as you can tell from the website and the banter in the shoutbox and match reports!) - the mighty Osborne Coburg. See the postings on the site for details of training and matches, including friendlies. If you want to come along and meet the teams and managers just turn up, alternatively type something in the shoutbox at the bottom left of the page. |

Online Footy Management Game
Anyone like playing these games? There is a free one here -
www.trophymanager.com
There is a Pro version as well, you can buy 3 months of the Pro version for about a fiver, revenue goes to improving the game support and server etc. MightyBurg won their division in their first season! You can register at the site at any time, new teams are put in new divisions so you can end up playing teams from all over England. There is also an IOW league being set up, so if you do sign up let me know by putting a message in the shoutbox and you can join that. Enjoy! |

Ex-Burger Dan Goldsmiths - new band!
Dans band The Sneers appeared in a charity event at the IOW Community Club (Plessey Club!) recently. Video of the event is going on youtube in the MightyBurg account. My favourite is this one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M_vrXdgkQA |

Augusts lottery draw was done at the 25th celebrations and was boosted to a record high of £70 thanks to those present that bought a ticket on the night. Two prizes of £35 were drawn and Eddie Rogers and Ducker Vine were the lucky winners.
Thanks to Eddie and the other players that have signed up for the lottery, if you haven't see your manager as not only will you have a chance of winning, you get adiscount on match fees too!
